OK, I know it has taken me FOREVER to get through the pictures from Hawaii. My only excuse: life. Seems like the last of 2012 was busier than ever between the holidays, mentor deer hunting, boot camp for Casey, year end tax planning, etc, etc. Yeah, yeah, this is boring; what you really want is to see pictures.
All of the pictures are stored on line at Picasa, so......just follow the links.
Day 2: Bellow's Beach and some body boarding. One word: A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!!!

Day 3-5: The Big Island - Hawai'i. A short hop from Oahu to Hawaii leads to a totally different climate. One side of Hawaii is tropical while the other is very arid and dry.
More Hawai'i photo's:
Day 6: Sight Seeing Oahu. This is when we found out why we weren't seeing water flowing in the waterfalls. All of Hawaii was in severe drought while we were there. It's still mind boggling to me that tropical islands can be in drought. We had planned the morning to spend hiking up to a waterfall then swim in the pool below it ending the day with some snorkeling. Instead, we went straight to snorkeling.
Snorkeling is SOOOO cool! I didn't have a chance to go on Harbour Island, so was not about to let this opportunity to pass me by!
Day 7: The USS Missouri, Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum, USS Arizona Memorial and a Luau. Words simply cannot explain how reverent the USS Arizona Memorial is. Those of you that follow me on Facebook are probably tired of me saying that. The food at the Luau was outstanding and the entertainment was great also. Never having been to a Vegas 'show', it was what I imagine a Vegas show would be like.
Rock hard surfboards are nice eye candy! bahahahahaha!!!
Day 8: Football!!!!! By this point we had packed so much into our vacation that a down day was really needed, by everyone. The boys each had football games in the morning so we all decided rather than more sightseeing, we were simply going to have a chill out day.
Literally, all pictures from day 8 are of the boys playing football. It was fun to watch Liam and Carter play!
