Yesterday I read on article on black and white photography and specifically how it can really bring out dimension other wise missed in color photography. It inspired me to go back to photos taken in South Africa and see what I thought.
I realized after the fact I chose a photo I hadn't really liked when I originally went through my photos. This has kinda been a cool exercise for me. My editing has changed a bit, I've gotten better at selecting details, and I believe I am seeing different quality in photos than I saw six years ago.
So....I continue this learning journey of photography. The edit I did yesterday isn't true black and white as I left some selective color. The 'pros' say selective color is out and dated. I say, I like it. And I particularly like it on this photo. What do you think?
