It has been extra hot the last few day.......Thursday evening driving through Deadwood at 6:15pm it was still 97*. When I got home it was still in the mid-90's. Phew! BUT!! This morning was a nice cool morning which brought the babies out and about a little. By the time they were making their presence known, the sun had burned off much of the cloud cover so made picture taking a little difficult, but we got what we could.
I wasn't quick enough to get her twin.

I got to see 4 of the chicks take flight to catch up with the others. THAT was a pretty cool sight! Life is good, indeed!
