Camping

It was time to get the "stink blowed off" so we decided to make an over night run up to probably our favorite spot to camp here in the Black Hills, Sheridan Lake.  We weren't able to have our choice spot as that loop wasn't open, but we still got a pretty nice spot right on the lake.  It was kind of cold and windy, so we spent most of the time inside the camper, but never fear, Casey the Waterfowl Dog made sure we had a little entertainment.

There are some "resident" geese at the lake that usually enjoy some peace and quiet with little disturbance, until.....................

Round one of the geese being chased off.

This pair didn't get enough the first time, they came back for a 2nd round!

Suffice it to say, our camp was in NO danger of being over run by geese.  Period.  End of subject.

I was able to get one shot of the geese prior to them being disturb.  Don't think I've ever been to Sheridan Lake and not seen several pairs of Canadian Geese, but I don't believe I have ever seen ducklings.  Kind of interesting.
