Last night was the night for the Cold Moon to be at its biggest brightest. Last night there was also a thick cloud bank that rolled in as the cold front started to arrive. The kids (dogs) and I headed out searching, hoping to be able to get the shot I was envisioning. No. Such. Luck.
The clouds made it difficult for the moon to make its scheduled appearance.....in fact, it was about an hour late and I had long since given up. Once it finally broke out of the clouds, it truly was that big bright spot in the sky; much whiter than I thought it would be. As it stared at me, I got the camera back out and gave it a try.....
