Mothers Day

I'm not around a lot, but Mom certainly has influence life.  Here's a few showing her personality.

We Are Home

Boy, this month has really just flown by!  Seems like we have been on the go constantly since returning from "The Great Discovery Adventure" we embarked on this past winter season. Between catching up on housework, appointments, civic commitments, throw in a holiday....... April is almost over!

I haven't had a lot of time to get through photos I took while we were gone, but have taken a very few since we returned.  Easter was low key having our friends from Newcastle come up and a neighbor from up the road came down.  Just a nice day spent visiting, eating way to much, and just simply relaxing.  I had a little fun with the hor's dourves, as I kept the main meal menu quite simple and accepted help from everyone!  I was able to spend the day relaxing while visiting over some wine.  It was a fabulous day!

Fruit kabobs were pretty cool; the veggie tray (supposed to look like an Easter egg) took a little imagination to figure out the gig.

This morning I was awakened by a very wet kiss from Ida letting me know it was time to wake up and let the kids out.  But it was very OK....as I simply never tire of awakening to our spectacular sunrises.  

And hearing a turkey gobble right outside my office window as I downloaded this shot, was just a bonus to the morning.

Why yes.....LIFE!  Is good!

Well, I believe we have arrived.  South Padre Island is where the mobile Snow Chateau has landed.

It's Rugby!

While we were out visiting the CA Snows, Nicholas had a rugby tourney we were able to attend.  I know N.O.T.H.I.N.G. about this sport.  I was totally confused the entire time we were watching.  About the only thing I figured out watching those three games was that you best be tough to play.  Talk about a contact sport!  Oh, and the ball has to touch the ground to score....not that I saw a single score happen.

Are We There????

Well, I'm not ready to say we "are" there, but we have made a stop along the way.  We've been at Bill's son, Chuck and families for the weekend.  In between all the running and shuffling, and chores to be done around the camper after leaving it here for the past two weeks.....I stepped outside this afternoon to see a sight I'm not used to - "Palm Trees and Snow Caps"  It's a pretty sight......
