It's Cold In Them Thar Hills

At first light this morning, it looked like it had snowed a bit.  Adding a little coffee so the brain could focus, showed that no, it was just frost.  If the sun ever comes out, it's gonna be really pretty!

Anyone care to hang out by the tiki torch?

There is frozen water falling out of the sky now, but I'm really not sure if it's just more frost or if it has started to snow a little.  It's cold....but it IS pretty!

Simpler Days Gone By

Take a few minutes, sit down in a quiet spot, grab a relaxing beverage, or not, turn your volume button up slightly and enjoy this link of days gone by.  I recognized some of the art work as being (I believe) Cody Country artists Jim Bama, Ty Barhaug, Larry Edgar, and Carrie Ballantyne; along with probably some C.R. Russell in there.  Cody folks will probably be able to put more names to the art work than I.

How is it that a hunting dog can be such a "Diva"?!?!?!?!?!?

A Winter Wonderland!

I'd say it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas......but Christmas is past!

Woke up to 4-5" of fresh new snow this morning and of course the wind is blowing!

This was taken yesterday (1-8-10) before the snow came in.

Two different squirrels and proof positive we have the world's FATTEST squirrels!  There was one more out there, but he went down into the bottom when I stepped outside.

And This morning I woke up to a Winter Wonderland!

Snow all stacked up on the deck.

Out back - notice Casey playing in it.  She'll be sad when winter is all done and she doesn't have snow to play in anymore!

Out front - Casey was still out back playing.  Otherwise, trust me, she would have been in the picture!
